Fifth-year striker Kilian Elkinson scored two goals and added one assists in leading the Varsity Blues men’s soccer team to a win and a draw in their home opening weekend (Aug. 30-31.).
 
Elkinson (Toronto) scored the game-winning goal and added one assist in a 5-2 victory over the Laurentian Voyageurs on Saturday. He sent a free kick of the front of the net in the 35th minute, where fellow veteran Jason Cordeiro headed it in, and then scored his own goal five minutes later.
 
He notched the lone U of T goal in a 1-1 draw with Nipissing on Sunday, sending a free kick from 21 yards out into the top left corner of the net.
