Fifth-year linebacker Harrison Beeforth recorded seven tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues to a thrilling 27-20 victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks in Week 2 of OUA football action.

The Richmond Hill, Ont., native sacked Laurier quarterback Julien John on the last play of the first quarter as Toronto led 7-0 after 15 minutes. He also ended the game with a huge sack for a loss of 10 yards with less than one minute remaining in the game to help secure the seven-point victory.

Beeforth recovered a Tyrrel Wilson fumble early in the third quarter, which set up what would be the game-winning touchdown on the ensuing drive.
