Rob Paris scored 29 points as the Varsity Blues men’s basketball team went 2-0 this weekend (Jan. 16-17) at the U of T’s Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

The fourth-year guard tallied 14 points in a 68-58 come-from-behind victory against the Queen’s Gaels on Friday night.

Paris (St. Catharines, Ont.) then recorded 15 points in only 12 minutes of action, shooting 75% from the floor as the Blues handily defeated the RMC Paladins 79-40 on Saturday night.

Paris is currently ranked 10th in the OUA, averaging 16.85 points per game.
