Third-year forward Robert Kay tallied one goal and three assists over two big wins as the Varsity Blues clinched a playoff berth in OUA men’s hockey action this past weekend.

The Orono, Ont., native scored the eventual game-winner and assisted the second goal in a thrilling 3-0 upset victory over the No. 10 Nipissing Lakers on Saturday night.

A third-year life science student, Kay also recorded two assists in a 5-2 victory over the Ryerson Rams on Thursday, a win that solidified Toronto’s post-season berth.

Kay is currently riding an eight-game point streak, where he has recorded one goal and 10 assists.
