Amanda Tully earned three medals to lead the Varsity Blues figure skating team to a second-place finish at the Toronto Invitational (Jan. 20-21).

 

The third-year physical education and health student won the gold medal in the women’s gold freeskate and finished third in the open individual solo dance. A native of Barrie, Ont., Tully went on to lead the Varsity Blues to a second-place finish in the synchro skate to solidify Toronto’s second-place team standing.

 

The sophomore skater also finished fourth in the senior similar pair freeskate with partner Veronica Hall.
