Fourth-year forward Ahmed Nazmi amassed an impressive 41 points and 21 boards and led the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s basketball team in two big wins over the Brock Badgers and the Guelph Gryphons in OUA action this weekend (Nov. 28-29).
The native of Cairo, Egypt tallied 15 points and five rebounds as the Blues dominated the defending CIS champion Badgers with an 88-64 win. He then followed that performance with a game-high 26 points on 52% shooting against the Gryphons and also led all players, hauling in 16 rebounds with two steals and two assists.
The fourth-year arts and science major was named Blues player of the game on both nights.
