Middle hitter Shannon Rossall had a breakout weekend, tallying 10 kills, 12 digs and a career-high seven blocks to lead the Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 win over the Ryerson Rams on Saturday afternoon.

A third-year engineering major, Rossall accounted for the final kill in a close 25-23 fourth-set win over Ryerson to secure Toronto’s fifth win of the season. She was also named the player of the match for her efforts.

The Calgary native went on to record a career-high 12 kills, five digs and five blocks versus the first-place York Lions on Sunday.
