Fourth-year forward Amanda Fawns scored one goal and added one assist to lead the Varsity Blues women’s hockey team to a 4-3 upset victory over the No. 6 Brock Badgers.

Fawns of Scarborough, Ont., helped U of T snap Brock’s 12-game winning streak, scoring the opening goal of the game on a beautiful one-time shot and went on to assist the game-winner with just under five minutes remaining in the game.

The arts and science major then came up with a game-saving shot block on the penalty kill in the last minute of the contest to solidify the comeback win.
