Nicole Brown tallied 14 goals and was named a tournament all-star as the Varsity Blues earned a silver medal at the 2010 OUA women’s water polo championship this weekend in Kingston, Ont.

 

Brown of Burlington, Ont., scored four goals in each of Toronto’s three round robin victories to finish first heading into the gold-medal match. This included potting two overtime markers to secure a 9-7 win over the eventual champion Carleton Ravens in round-robin action.

 

A fourth-year human biology major and now four-time OUA all-star, Brown also tallied two in a narrow 9-7 loss to the Ravens in the gold-medal match.
