Andrew Wasik totaled 27 points and 21 rebounds, averaging a double double to help lead the No. 10 Varsity Blues men’s basketball team to two crucial wins at home this weekend, which pushed their season record to 5-1 over the first three weeks of the season.
 
The Burnaby, B.C., native had a monster performance on Friday night, tallying a career-high 25 points and eight boards, leading the Blues to a big 96-86 win over the Brock Badgers. Wasik was a perfect 6-for-6 from the line and added his first three-pointer of the season.
 
A fourth-year commerce student, Wasik followed that up with a solid double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds as Toronto dominated Guelph on Saturday. With the two wins, the Blues maintain their second-place standing in the OUA East.

Honourable Mention: Garrett Sheehan made 50 saves as the Varsity Blues men's hockey team upset the No. 4 Western Mustangs on Friday night.
