Rookie forward Blake Boddy scored his first three career goals as a Varsity Blue to lead the men’s hockey team to their first two wins of the season at Varsity Arena this past weekend, including U of T's 6-2 upset of the No. 9 Concordia Stingers.

 

Boddy of Ajax, Ont., roofed the puck over the shoulder of Carleton’s goaltender on Friday night and went on to score as Toronto’s first shooter in the eventual 4-3 victory over the third-place Ravens.

 

A management major, Boddy followed that up with a two-goal performance and was named the Varsity Blues player of the game against the nationally ranked Stingers 6-2 on Saturday night.
