Grieder capped off her seven-year playing career with the Varsity Blues in 2014. The three-time OUA all-star and five-year team captain led U of T to three OUA bronze-medal finishes. She becomes only the second head coach in U of T women's lacrosse program history, following long-time head coach Todd Pepper.
She coached within the Toronto Stars box lacrosse program from 2004-07 and has coached within the Toronto Beaches field lacrosse association from 2009 to present.
The native of Cobourg, Ont., holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Toronto Scarborough, a PhD from the Institute of Medical Science at U of T, as well as a Master of Education and Bachelor of Education.
She is currently a course instructor in the human biology, cell & systems biology and psychology department at the University of Toronto as well as the department of psychology and Chang School of Continuing Education at Ryerson University.
