This will be Kelly Sadowski’s second season with the Varsity Blues. She joins the program with a tremendous playing and coaching resume that includes a four-year career with Central Michigan University where she was named the 1993 Mid-American Conference (MAC) co-rookie of the year. Sadowski was a first-team all-MAC, a first-team academic all-MAC and a first team National Field Hockey Coaches Association all-academic from 1994-1996.

In 1998, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Magna Cum Laude) and taught for 10 years at Utica Eisenhower high school. Sadowski coached varsity field hockey at Marian high school for the past five years and took the Mustangs from the last place team in the state of Michigan to one of the top three programs. She gained valuable coaching experience through USA Futures, an Olympic development program designed to teach fundamental and advanced field hockey skills to high school and elite college players.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Sadowski played three years for the Western Region open field hockey team and helped the team garner a bronze and a silver medal at the Empire State Games.
