Julie brings a wealth of international playing experience accumulated over 16 years including three world cups. Julie played on Canada's first world cup team in 1982, winning a bronze medal at the first IFWLA world championships held in Nottingham, England. She went on to represent Canada at the 1986 and 1989 world championships in Philadelphia, PA and Perth, Australia.
During this time Julie developed into one of the best and most consistent goalkeepers in Canada. She was the premiere goalkeeper for the Ontario provincial team for 14 years. Julie was inducted into the Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2000. She is a massage therapist and member of the Toronto Titans, Ontario Women's Lacrosse Senior 'B' champions in 2011.
Julie coached with the Blues previously from 2002 to 2008.
