Casper Jones joins the Varsity Blues men’s lacrosse staff, bringing with him a broad range of international coaching experience. A native of London, England, Casper began coaching junior under-13 and under-16 teams. He went on to play and coach with the U.S. military team from 2001-04, as well as local Korean club teams in Seoul, South Korea. In 2001, Casper began to run sessions for the Korean national lacrosse team before moving to New Zealand and developing a club lacrosse program there.
Casper currently coaches a number of peewee, bantam and midget field lacrosse teams as well as the Toronto Beaches all-star lacrosse team.
A decorated player himself, Casper played on a touring team in Czechoslovakia in 1991. He went on to become a member of England’s under-19 development squad and played with an American all-star team in 1994.
Casper currently works as a systems administrator/interactive compliance officer at an advertising agency in Toronto.
