University of Toronto Athletics

Carlie Lam was named the head coach of the University of Toronto competitive cheerleading team in 2008 after serving two years as an assistant coach. An American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCAA) certified coach, Carlie also coaches the cheerleading teams at Dr. Norman Bethune C.I. and David and Mary Thomson C.I. She has taught at FlyGirl clinics and also serves as a judge at various cheerleading competitions.

As a cheerleader, Carlie competed for Ultimate Canadian Cheer for two years before joining the Varsity Blues for three seasons.
