Amr Elmehelmi was named head coach of the women’s squash team in September of 2024.
With over 12 years of international coaching experience, Elmehelmi brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and expertise to the program.
Elmehelmi’s squash journey began in Egypt, where he was a member of the junior national team and ranked among the top 8 junior players nationally. Since then, he has continued to nurture and develop top-tier squash talent, coaching junior and professional athletes both nationally and internationally.
His experience includes key coaching roles at prestigious institutions like the Granite Club and the Royal Canadian Yacht Club (RCYC). Elmehelmi is no stranger to Varsity Blues athletics, having served as the assistant coach from 2017-21.
Elmehelmi holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Alexandria University.
