Alicia Lashley

Alicia Lashley became the manager of sponsorship and strategic partnership in July of 2022, but she is no stranger to Varsity Blues athletics. Lashley played for the Varsity Blues women's soccer team from 2006-10, twice earning OUA all-star honours. 

Prior to her current role, Alicia served as the partnerships and outreach coordinator for the University of Toronto Students' Union, and also served as the communications co-lead on the Board of Directors for The Canadian Black Standard, a non-profit organization that promotes black excellence and community building. Lashley is the founder and business consultant of Camaraderie Lifestyle, a lifestyle consulting firm that specializes in securing funding through grant applications for small businesses.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in sociology, psychology and math from the University of Toronto. She is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach where she earned a Master's degree in sports management and served as a sports coach for the women's soccer program. She also holds an advanced marketing certificate from the University of Toronto Continuing Education.
