Alex Patterson joined the Varsity Blues staff in August of 2022. She came to the Blues after a season with the Saskatchewan Rattlers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL), where she served as an account executive and executed game production. Prior to that, Patterson worked for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Force FC during their 2019 seasons, where she stage managed for the Grey Cup and the CanPL championship.
She has volunteered with the Super Bowl LIV host and fan engagement committee, the NCAA Final Four sustainability committee, the ParaTough Cup in 2019, 2020 and 2023, as well as the Greater Sudbury community COVID-19 relief committee.Â
Patterson graduated from Laurentian University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in sports administration.
