  • Title
    Women's Volleyball - Assistant Coach
Charlotte Sider joined the Varsity Blues women's volleyball coaching staff as an inaugural participant in the U SPORTS Female Apprenticeship Coaching Program in September 2020.

Sider was a force to be reckoned with on the OUA women's volleyball scene from 2010-15. A four-time OUA all-star and two-time all-Canadian, she was named the OUA East player of the year in leading the Varsity Blues to the 2015 provincial title and a fourth-place finish at the championship. She led the team in kills and points in four of her five seasons and was a member of three OUA bronze medalist teams.

Internationally, Sider represented Canada at the 2013 FISU world university games in beach volleyball and was a three-time U21/23 world championships Top 10 finisher. She was a member of both the indoor and beach Canadian national teams and played professionally in Belgium in 2015.

Sider took that success on the court and beach and quickly turned it into a coaching career. She served as the head coach of the Phoenix 15U club team, Toronto York School 14U team, Hudson College U20 team, Humber College's elite position camp, Phoenix development clinics, as well as the MNJ community centre adult volleyball league.
