Biography

High School: Won the OFSAA silver medal in cross country in 2007...won the 2008 OFSAA gold in the 3000m and silver in the 1500m. 

National/International Competition:
2012: Placed eighth in the 1500m at the Canadian national track and field championships and Olympic Trials...placed ninth at the 2012 FISU world university championships.

2011: Placed second in the 5000m at the Canadian national championships. 

2010: Finished first in the 1500m at the Lafarge international track meet in Abbotsford, B.C.

2009: Placed sixth at the junior NACAC cross country championships. 

2008: Won the women's 3000m at the Canadian junior track & field championships... placed eighth in the 3000m at the world junior championships in Poland. 

Varsity:

Cross Country:
2011: Named the OUA female most valuable runner after claiming the individual title at the provincial championships (17:33.5)...went onto place second at the CIS championships (18:07.9)...earned OUA and CIS athlete of the week honours (Oct. 24-30)...was invited to the 2012 FISU cross country championships in Poland, where she finished ninth overall and helped Canada to a fourth-place finish. 

2009: Finished in sixth place at the CIS championships (17:30). 

2008: Finished third at the OUA championships (18:24.6)...went onto place fifth at the CIS championships (18:25.0)...named the OUA and CIS female rookie of the year.

Track & Field:

2015-16: Finished second in the women's 3000m in 9:37.46 at the CIS championships.

2011-12: Earned the OUA silver medal and CIS gold medal in the women's 1500m...a member of Toronto's OUA silver medalist 4x800 relay team...placed sixth in the 1000m at the OUA championships.

2008-09: Finished sixth overall in the women's 3000m at the CIS championships. 

Personal: Cousin, Gordon, competed for Canada in Nordic skiing at the 2012 Vancouver Olympics...sister, Rachel, was also a member of the Varsity Blues track and field team.
