Biography

High School: Named the senior track team MVP in 2010. 

Academic: Won the Jean Forster entrance scholarship and DB Merit award scholarship in 2010...also won the physical education and health alumni scholarship in 2011...named the U of T intercollegiate athlete top scholar in 2015...Won the 2015 Mary H. Beatty fellowship and SSHRC Canada graduate scholarship.

National: Competed in the 800m at the 2015 Canadian track and field championships.

2013: Won the OUA women's pentathlon with a 3634-point finish...a member of Toronto's OUA record breaking and OUA gold medalist 4x400m relay team...finished 8th in the OUA 600m run...named an OUA all-star and CIS all-Canadian...earned the CIS bronze medal in the pentathlon (3735)...helped Toronto's 4x800 relay team to a silver medal finish. 

2012: Won the OUA women's pentathlon with a 3636-point finish...went onto claim the bronze medal in the women's high jump...a member of Toronto's OUA and CIS record-breaking and gold medalist 4x400 relay team...also earned the CIS bronze medal in the women's pentathlon...named an OUA all-star and CIS all-Canadian...named the OUA female field events most valuable performer...named the University of Toronto's female rookie of the year. 

Personal: Sister, Tamara, is a member of the Varsity Blues cross country and track and field teams...cousin, Gordon, was an Olympic Nordic skiier...Rachel volunteered as a dog walker at the Toronto Humane Society..volunteers at CAMH, running an exercise class once a week with an in-patient women's unit.
