Biography
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Caitlin Peever to the women's track and field team for the 2025-26 season.
A 5-foot-5 sprinter from Kelowna, Peever joins the Blues via Okanagan Mission Secondary School and Okanagan Athletics.
A strong runner in the 100m event category, Peever excelled with her high school team during the 2023 season scoring individual bronze and relay gold. In addition to taking the top step in the 4x100m, Peever and her teammates also set a new provincial record with their sensational run during the provincial championships.
Meanwhile, under the Okanagan Athletics banner she most recently garnered two individual gold medals at the 2025 BC Athletics Indoor Championships winning both the women's 60m and 200m. She followed that with a sixth place result in the 200m at the 2025 Canadian Indoor Track and Field Championships. Further impressive results include multiple Top 10 finishes at the 2023 and 2022 editions of the Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships and a 4x100m relay silver at the 2022 BC Summer Games.
Peever is set to enter the mathematics and physical sciences program at U of T in the fall.
