Club: Garnered several provincial recognitions, including Sport Nova Scotia's Junior Female Swimmer of the Year...multi-time recipient of Cleve's Source for Sports Athlete of the Month honour...holds Swim Nova Scotia records across multiple age categories...has competed at the 2022 Canada Summer Games, the Eastern Canadian Swimming Championships (2022, 2023, 2024), Speedo Canadian Swimming Championships (2022, 2023, 2024), and Bell Canadian Swimming Trials (2022, 2023, 2024).

"Julie is a critical recruit for the Blues as we will have graduated most of our breaststrokers in the past two years and breaststrokers are in very short supply around the country," said Varsity Blues assistant head coach Linda Kiefer. "We know Julie a is a top student and was keen to attend the best academic school in the country to advance her science interest, so after visiting the campus and the team, I think that solidified her desire to come to U of T for the fall of 2025 and we are very happy she chose Toronto."
