"Avery races the tough events - the distance free and 400m IM, as well as backstroke, so she will be a valuable member of the Varsity Blues, " said U of T swimming head coach Byron MacDonald. "I was impressed with the research she has done of not just the team, but her very specialized field of study. She knows what she wants and will be in the right place at U of T."
