Biography

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Neyha Sidhu to the women's soccer program for the 2026 season.

“I chose U of T because it had everything I was looking for—on the academic side and in athletics," said Sidhu. "Coach Angelo made me feel welcome from the start, and there was just something about the campus that felt right. After my visit, I knew this was where I wanted to be.”

A goalkeeper from White Rock, B.C., Sidhu joins the Blues via Earl Marriott Secondary School and Burnaby FC.

A standout in goal, Sidhu's exceptional play earned her the chance to compete as a member of Team BC throughout the last three seasons. With Burnaby FC she also reached the Provincial Cup finals in three consecutive seasons (2022, 2023, 2024). In tournament competitions, Sidhu was named MVP at both the FMS Pro Tournament and Youth Nations Tournamanet.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
