Deesh Bhattal brings a wealth of knowledge and a successful coaching resume as he joins the Varsity Blues women’s soccer program in 2010. He coached NCAA division III women’s soccer for two years before being appointed the head coach of the United State’s Olympic Development Program (ODP) in Virginia and North Carolina. As a result, Deesh was invited to participate and observe the 2002 United State’s women’s national team tryout camps. He later took over the Seneca College women’s program in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA), earning two bronze medals and coach of the year honours.
Deesh holds national coaching licenses in Canada and the U.S., as well as a Brazilian coaching certificate. He continues to travel across the North America, holding coaching clinics and scholarship seminars.
Deesh resides in Brampton, Ont., and enjoys coaching his son and daughter in their rep soccer teams.
