    Women's Soccer - Assistant Coach

Cecily Clarke returns for a second successful year with the Blues staff. Cecily also served as assistant coach under Havaris at Fanshawe College in 2005 and 2006, where she helped lead the team to a provincial championship and a fourth-place finish at nationals. She brings coaching experience from the Ottawa South United soccer club and holds her Ontario Soccer Association’s pre-B coaching license.

No stranger to success on the field, Cecily won three Ontario University Athletics (OUA) championships as a player - with Queen’s in 2001 and 2002 and Western in 2004. Her numerous athletic accomplishments include being named an OUA all-star, an academic all-Canadian, a first-team all-Canadian, and the recipient of the 2003 Queen’s University female athlete of the year and women of influence awards. She also represented Canada at the 2003 World FISU Games in Daegu, Korea.

Cecily holds a Masters degree in Sport Management from the University of Western Ontario, as well as co-current degrees in Physical Health and Education and Science from Queen’s University. She currently serves as a Sport and Recreation consultant with the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion.
