University of Toronto Athletics

A current biomedical Nanotechnology PhD student at the University of Toronto, Hans Fischer returns this year as the athlete/coach of the Varsity Blues nordic ski team. This will be his seventh season in the athlete/coach role but has been ski team member since he was rookie of the year here with the Blues in 1999.

A NCCP certified x-country ski coach, active cyclist, and sailor, Fischer is also an alumnus of the University of Toronto men's field lacrosse program, having co-captained the team from 1999-2001.
