Jesse Porter was named Varsity Blues women's lacrosse head coach on July 1, 2019.
Porter joined the Blues after four seasons as the women's national coach for the Chinese women's team, where she guided the team to their first entry at a World Cup. Prior to that, she coached U13 and U19 teams with the Toronto Beaches Lacrosse Club from 2011-15, while also serving as an official in the Ontario Women's Field Lacrosse league from 2010-15.
As a player, Porter was a member of the four-time OUA champion Western Mustangs from 2011-14. While at Western, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with honours specialization in kinesiology – sport management.
