Biography

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Vicky Liu to the women's cross country and track & field programs for the 2026-27 season.

A 5-foot-4 middle distance and distance runner from Newmarket, Liu joins the Blues via Newmarket High School and the Newmarket Huskies.

An exceptional athlete, Liu was twice named athlete of the year at Newmarket High School. She qualified for both the OFSAA Cross Country Championships and OFSAA Track & Field Championships. With her club, she contributed to provincial and national championship cross country victories. As well, she has competed at the Legion National Championships and U20 Canadian Track & Field Championships.

An honour roll student throughout her high school career, Liu will study Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto.

• 1500m – 4:52.73
• 3000m – 10:32.49

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
