Biography

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Kyla McDougall to the women's cross country and track & field programs for the 2026-27 season.

A 5-foot-5 middle distance and distance runner from Port Perry, McDougall joins the Blues via Port Perry High School and the Newmarket Huskies Track Club.

During her high school career she appeared at four different OFSAA Championships, placing third with her team at the 2024 Cross Country Championships. This is in addition to the numerous LOSSA medals earned. Meanwhile, with her club she has competed at the Cross Country National Championships and the Legion National Championships.

An honour roll student and recipient of the Junior Letter, McDougall will study Humanities at U of T.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
