The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Bianca Grossi to the women's cross country and track & field programs for the 2026-27 season.

A 5-foot-3 middle distance and distance runner from Halifax, Grossi joins the Blues via Halifax Grammar School and Athletics East Track and Field.

Finding success on both the track and the trail, Grossi has excelled with both her high school and club teams.

Throughout her athletic career at Halifax Grammar School she has earned both cross country and track and field athlete of the year honours. She earned individual and team silver at the SSNS Provincial Cross Country Championship in 2025. She also earned individual bronze in 2024 and was a member of team gold in 2023. On the track, she additionally holds school records in both the 1500m and 3000m.

With her club, she contributed to a team bronze at the 2025 AXCX U18 Girls 6km. She has also competed at the 2025 Canadian Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships, placing fourth in the 3000m.

An exceptional student, Grossi has earned several Academic Achievement Awards and scholarships. She is set to enter the social sciences program at U of T in the fall.

Students who sign a letter of intent and/or commit to Varsity Blues intercollegiate teams will be eligible to play at the University of Toronto provided they are academically admissible and have applied through the normal process with the Ontario Universities Application Centre.
