Former OUA and U SPORTS defensive player of the year Becky LeBlanc was named the Varsity Blues full-time assistant coach in May, 2021.
LeBlanc enjoyed an illustrious four-year playing career with the Carleton Ravens from 2014-18. During that time, she helped the Ravens to two OUA championship titles, and capped off her career as the U SPORTS championship MVP in leading Carleton to their first national title in program history in 2017-18. She also earned Carleton's female athlete of the year honours that season.

Following graduation from Carleton, LeBlanc finished her playing career with the Western Mustangs while pursuing a bachelor of education degree. She then joined the Mustangs coaching staff as an inaugural participant in the U SPORTS Female Apprenticeship Coaching Program in 2020-21.

LeBlanc is also currently pursuing a Master's degree in equity, diversity and social justice at Western University. Â Â
