Craig Sarson was named the head coach of the Varsity Blues fastpitch team in 2013 following one season as an assistant coach.
His previous coaching experience saw him act as a guest instructor with the under-16 Great Britain national softball team, while also serve as an assistant coach with the under-18 Brampton Blazers team, which placed fifth at the 2012 Canadian championships.
As a player, Sarson great up playing in Scarborough, Oshawa and all around Ontario. He played with the Masterton Giants in the Premier 1 division in New Zealand in 2007-08 and also played for the London Meteors club team in the UK in 2010. He has played in tournaments in Canada, the USA, New Zealand, England and the Netherlands against many of the world’s top players in the AAU, ISC, ISF and NAFA.
