Academic Awards: Won the CIHR and FRSQ student research grants...won the Provost's graduate entrance scholarship at McGill...won the Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top scholarship...awarded the Marsha Lampman Alumni Association bursary at Queen's.

Rowing: Placed first at the head of the Rideau in the fall of 2009.

Personal: Brother, Michael, was a former member of the Varsity Blues rowing team.
