Biography

High School: Named athlete of the year in grade 12…named the Town Crier’s athlete of the year
Academic: Awarded the Harry Gibbs Award in 2008.
Varsity: Awarded the T-holders performance scholarship and the Dr. Phillip Robinson Scholarship. 
    2009-10: Played in 69 games...led the OUA and was ranked second in the CIS in total points (362), total kills (316) and averaged an impressive 5.20 points per game...named an OUA first team all-star and CIS second team all-Canadian.
    2008-09: Played in 75 games...was the only OUA player to average more than four points a set (4.39) and was the OUA leader in kills with 287...became the first male volleyball player on a non-playoff team to be named the 2008-09 OUA player of the year...was also named a first team all-Canadian.
    2007-08: Played in 69 games...averaged 4.48 kills per game...averaged 1.83 digs per game...led the team with 5.05 points per game....named an OUA first team all-star and a CIS second team all-Canadian. 
    2006-07:  Played in 74 games...averaged 2.85 kills per game and 1.74 digs per game...second on the team with 3.29 points per game. 
    2005-06:  Played in 75 games...averaged 1.83 kills per game and 2.2 points per game...named a member of the OUA and CIS all-rookie team.
Other: Played against Mike Cambert, Kevin Wong and Scott Wong in the nine-man Chinese volleyball tournament.
Personal: Was the assistant coach of the volleyball team at York Mills C.I...Brother, Anthony, plays for Connex Volleyball.
