Tom Lazarou joined the Blues coaching in 2007 but is no stranger to the Varsity Blues men’s soccer program. Lazarou played for the Blues from 1987 – 1991 and was an integral part of the 1988 CIAU national championship team. He continued his playing career with the Scarborough Azzuri and Olympiakos of the Ontario Soccer League. Lazarou returned to take on the head coaching duties of Olympiakos shortly after his playing career came to an end.
A certified paramedic, Lazarou holds a Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed.) and is currently the principal at Sir Oliver Mowat secondary school in Scarborough, ON.
