Paddy Watson began coaching with the Varsity Blues men’s rugby team for the 2022 season.  

Watson previously coached with the UBC Thunderbirds and the UBC Rugby Academy. He has also coached at the high school level, with Upper Canada College, Kitsilano Secondary School, and with regional age grade teams. In 2021, he managed the undefeated Vancouver Wave team that won the Coastal Cup. In 2019, he worked on a committee with the Canada Chamber of Commerce in Japan to promote ties and charity initiatives surrounding the Rugby World Cup.
