High School: Won the Ian Parsons memorial award for male sportsmanshp in grade 12...won the passion for sport basketball award in grade 11 and leadership award on the rugby team in grade 10. 

Personal: Father, David, played rugby for the McMaster Marauders...uncle, Mike, played football for the Varsity Blues....uncle, Doug, was a member of the national canoe team...aunt, Erin, played for the Varsity Blues women's water polo team.
