Emre Tali became the Varsity Blues men's water polo head coach in August, 2024.
Emre transitions into the role of head coach following two seasons as an assistant coach and one season as associate head coach. He succeeds his brother, Tuna Tali, who served as Varsity Blues men's water polo head coach for six seasons, all of which the Blues claimed OUA championships.
In addition to his work as a coach with the U of T men's water polo program, Emre is also an alumnus, having competed with the Blues from 2013-2017 where he earned OUA all-star honours twice, while helping Toronto capture two OUA championships.
