An assistant coach with the Varsity Blues since 2006, Todd Wilfong has over 20 years of coaching experience to his name. He was the head coach of provincial champion Brampton Excelsior bantam A team in 2001. Todd was also an assistant coach with the Brooklin Merchants senior B club from 2004-07 before becoming the head coach of the Newmarket Saints junior B squad from 2007 to 2008. In 2005, Todd was selected as the Ontario senior B coach of the year and is a three-time recipient of the Brampton City award of excellence (1997, 1998 and 2001).
Todd enjoyed a long playing career and was named the Port Moody Steamers player of the year in 1988. He played senior A lacrosse with the Coquitlam Adanacs for many years before finishing his career with the Toronto field lacrosse club from 2001-06. He has been an off-field observer for the National Lacrosse League (NLL), was an executive member on the Brampton Excelsior minor lacrosse association and has taught at various box and field lacrosse camps over Canada.
Todd is currently employed by the Major Lacrosse League's Toronto Nationals as an on-field game day operator.
