Kyle Robinson

During the spring of 2024, Robinson was announced as the head coach of the Varsity Blues men's lacrosse program after spending two seasons as an assistant coach with the team.

Prior to joining the Blues in 2022, Robinson served as an assistant coach with the Simon Fraser men's lacrosse program from 2015 to 2017, as well as an assistant coach with the Hong Kong men's lacrosse national team from 2016 to 2020.

As an athlete, Robinson competed as a member of the McGill University lacrosse team, where he was a part of the program's first CUFLA national championship in 2012. A two-time captain of the McGill team, he was twice named a CUFLA All-Canadian and was honoured as CUFLA defender of the year in his senior season.

Following the completion of a Bachelor of Science at McGill, Robinson then began graduate studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During his time on the west coast, he co-founded and served as head coach for the Thunderbirds Lacrosse Club from 2013 to 2019, eventually winning the club provincial championship.

Robinson has additionally coached with the New Westminster Lacrosse Association and Westmount Lynx Lacrosse Club.
