Junior Hockey: Played for two seasons for the Trenton Golden Hawks in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL), helping them to a league championship and the Dudley Hewitt Cup as the Central Canadian Junior A champions, before falling in the semifinals of the Royal Bank Cup in 2015-16...In his two seasons with Trenton, Lavoie notched 34 goals and 85 points over 105 regular season games, while also adding 12 goals and 30 points in 34 playoff games...also spent three seasons with the Thorold Blackhawks in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL), where he was named captain of the squad as an 18-year-old in 2014-15.

Previous post-secondary: Played two seasons for the Robert Morris University (RMU) Colonials...suited up for 28 games, helping the team to two straight Atlantic Hockey Championships appearances.

Varsity:

2019-20: Dressed for all 28 regular season and three playoff games...scored five goals and added nine assists for 14 regular-season points...recorded a season-high two points twice this season...added two assists in the playoffs. 

2018-19: Dressed for all 28 regular season and two playoff games...scored four goals and added 10 assists for 14 regular season points...notched a career-high three points (3A) in two games this season...scored his first goal as a Varsity Blue at Laurentian on Oct. 20...added one goal in the playoffs.
