The University of Toronto Varsity Blues are excited to share the commitment of Keanan Dewberry to the men's hockey program for the 2026-27 season.

"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to attend U of T because it provides the ideal environment to pursue excellence both on the ice and in the classroom," said Dewberry. "The chance to compete at at high level of university hockey while earning a world class education is a unique opportunity, and one I am very proud and excited to embrace."

A 5-foot-10 forward from Montreal, Dewberry joins the Blues via the Rochester Jr. Americans of the NAHL.

Dewberry has spent his entire junior career with Rochester, accumulating 82 points (39 G, 42 A) in 187 total games played with the Jr. Americans. Known for his game breaking speed, relentless work ethic and physicality, the NAHL veteran served as an assistant captain and set new career-high's in goals, assists, and points with Rochester this past season.

"Keanan is a hard-nosed player that takes a lot of pride in his work ethic and his compete on pucks," said Varsity Blues head coach Ryan Medel. "His speed allows him to get away from his defenders and makes him a threat off the rush. He also brings versatility as he can play wing or centre. Keanan was an important leader on the Jr. Americans and played a key role down the stretch for them."
