Palazzese joined the Blues coaching staff in September, 2018. He came to the Blues after emerging as one of the top goalie coaches in the Greater Toronto Area over the past two years, establishing Franky Palazzese Goalie School Inc.  
 
Palazzese boasts an impressive playing resume. The Mississauga, Ont., native played six seasons in the OHL with the Kingston Frontenacs, Kitchener Rangers and Sudbury Wolves. He played two seasons for the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL, where he boasted a .909 save percentage through 80 regular season games. He also appeared in the AHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2015-16.
