In addition to being the Varsity Blues football strength and conditioning coach, Richard Karikari is currently the owner and founding director of Complete Sports Performance (CSP).
CSP is a full service, sports specific training company dedicated to providing the finest athletic training programs through top caliber coaching and state-of-art-equipment. Affiliated with various professional athletes, Richard continues to bridge the success of the professionals with amateur athletes. Having touched the lives of over 5,000 athletes across North America, Richard is passionate about Canadian sports and is committed to the development of Canadian athletes.

- 2008 Grey Cup champion (Calgary Stampeders)
- 2005 CFL and East division all-star
- 2005 - Led the Alouettes and was second in CFL with nine interceptions.
- Sept. 2, 2005 - First CFL touchdown against Ottawa – an 81-yard interception return from QB Kerry Joseph
- June 16, 2006 - Career-high six tackles vs. Winnipeg.

CFL
Richard was selected by the Montreal Alouettes in the second round (14th overall) of the 2003 CFL Canadian draft. He was traded to Toronto for Keith Stokes in December of 2006. He signed as a free agent with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2007 and then with the Calgary Stampeders in 2008.
University
Richard played at St. Francis Xavier, and was a runner-up for the Hec Creighton award as the top CIS football player in 2002. Also in 2002, he was the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) most outstanding player and was also named a CIS all-Canadian.
