Paul de Pass joined the U of T coaching staff in 2016 after a storied career with the Varsity Blues. De Pass ended his five years as U of T’s all-time career receiving yards leader, making 140 catches for 2490 yards from 2009-13. He was named an OUA all-star and U SPORTS all-Canadian after breaking the U of T record for most receiving yards in a single season in 2013 (970 yards).

Following graduation, de Pass signed with the Ottawa REDBLACKS of the CFL, before heading to Europe to play for three seasons with the Freiburg Sacristans, Bratislava Monarchs and Modling Rangers.
