John Scott, a native of Austin, Texas, joined the Blues coaching staff in 2010 as the defensive line coach.
A long-time veteran of the Canadian Football League, John signed as a free agent with the Shreveport Pirates in 1994 and played two years before moving to the B.C., where he played with the Lions for the next four years. He moved on to the Toronto Argonauts in 2000 and then spent two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats before ending his CFL career with the Ottawa Renegades in 2005.
John has been a head coach in the Brampton Minor Football Association (BMFA) as well as a defensive coordinator in the OVFL.
