Derek Livingstone enters his second year as the Varsity Blues kicking, punting and long-snapping coach. A four-year starter with the McMaster Marauders, Derek has successfully hit field goals from 47, 50 and 52 yards, as well as recording an 83-yard punt. He is a three-time OUA all-star, two-time CIS all-Canadian and, in his second season, was selected to play in the CIS East West all-star game.

Derek won the Dr. Jack Kennedy award as the Marauders top male student-athlete and received an honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Education from Brock University and his certification as a strength and condition coach from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Derek is the former kickers and punters coach for the Steel City Ironmen of the Ontario Varsity Football League. Having received elite coaching from many of the best CFL and NFL kickers/punters, he now passes on this knowledge on a year-round basis.
